As we gather under the national flag in the morning light, our hearts are filled with hope and excitement for the future. Today, we reflect on the power of technology to ignite dreams and the role of innovation in shaping tomorrow.

Think of the airplanes crossing the sky, the instant connections we make with loved ones far away, or the advanced tools that save lives in hospitals—all are gifts of technology. It has not only brightened the path of human progress but has also inspired each of us to imagine and explore beyond the known.

Yet imagination alone is not enough. It is innovation that turns ideas into reality. Innovation isn’t just for scientists; it lives in every new solution we devise, every small improvement we make, and every challenge we approach with fresh eyes. From Edison’s persistent experiments to Yuan Longping’s revolutionary work on hybrid rice—innovation has always driven humanity forward.

As students in this dynamic era, how can we contribute?

First, stay curious. Ask questions and seek answers about the world around you.

Second, build a strong foundation. Master your subjects—from science to humanities—as they are the base of all great innovations.

Third, take action. Join science fairs, experiment, code, build—apply what you learn.

And fourth, be resilient. Do not fear failure. Every setback teaches us something new.
